This past summer, Tena Logan of Loxa, Ill., was convicted of conspiring to manufacture 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and possessing it with intent to distribute.
The McDonough County Sheriff’s Department said members of a Bushnell family face numerous methamphetamine-related charges after a search warrant was executed at their home early Sunday.
Those arrested at the house at 793 North Sperry Street are Virgil Raines, age 50; Brenda Raines, age 50; and Travis Raines, age 22.
The sheriff’s department said three others were arrested in Macomb: Daniel Raines, age 24; Timothy Raines, age 23; and Tiffany Raines, age 21.
The Lee County Narcotics Task Force got its start in 1992.
The organization has been extremely active since the start of 2012. It has made public dozens of arrests throughout the county.
Commander Stacy Weber credits the work of the detectives involved with the task force. He says they are three of the most highly motivated officers he has ever met.
Weber also credits the flow of information coming from inmates and staff within the Lee County Jail.
