Rich Egger talked to Lieutentant Governor Pat Quinn, who supports holding a convention. Egger also talked to Mary Kubasak of the Illinois League of Women Voters, which is urging people to vote against the proposal.

October 17, 2008 – Jason's Parrott's guest is Sue Prochazka of the Tri-State Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Abuse. They talk about domestic violence prevention programs and how those programs are being hurt by a lack of funding.
October 10, 2008 – Julie Root's guests are Rodney Davis and Douglas Wilson. They are co-directors of the Lincoln Studies Center at Knox College. Davis and Wilson are also co-authors of "The Lincoln Studies Center Edition: The Lincoln-Douglas Debates." On "Emphasis," they talk about the 150th anniversary of the Lincoln-Douglas debate at Old Main on the Knox College campus.
