The Burlington City Council has unanimously approved the appointment of Matt Trexel as the city’s new fire chief.
City Manager Jim Ferneau says Interim Fire Chief Matt Trexel is his choice to lead the Burlington Fire Department.
The man currently leading the Burlington Fire Department is in line to keep the job.
