Thursday June 6- Alternative Radio: Thomas Linzey, co-founder and executive director of  the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund, talks about "Corporations,  Communities, & the Environment."

Wednesday June 12- Intelligence Squared US: "The FDA’s Caution is Hazardous to  Our Health."

Thursday June 13- Alternative Radio: Author Yves Engler talks about "What’s Going On  in Canada?"

Wednesday June 19- Humankind:

In the first segment, University of Chicago climate scientist Pamela Martin and others discuss the surprising link between global warming and what we eat, a connection with implications both for broad-ranging environmental impact as well as personal health.

In the second segment, two physicians who have treated civilian victims in conflict zones and advocated on their behalf tell of the patients they have encountered, and the challenge of helping people to heal after war has disrupted - and in some cases - shattered their lives.

Thursday June 20- Alternative Radio: William Black, Associate Professor of Economics and  Law at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, talks about "Banks, Fraud &  Looting."

Wednesday June 26- Humankind:

In the first segment,   more and more Americans are relying on the good will of their neighbors, who are motivated to offer their time and money while times are tough.

In the second segment, at a time when many face financial struggle, we hear from the founder of a soup kitchen, a scholar of philanthropy, and others who have pondered why “good neighbors” reach out to the needy and what kind of self-reflection is required for someone to give wisely.

Thursday June 27- Alternative Radio: Independent journalist Christopher de Bellaigue talks  about "Iran- Coups, Sanctions, & the Threat of War."
