C-SC Online Courses Growing
Culver-Stockton College continues to see growth in its online learning capabilities.
The northeast Missouri school says online enrollment is up 30% this semester, compared to Spring 2013.
Dean of Academics, Dr. Dan Silber, says the increase justifies an expansion of the program several months ago.
He says students previously needed 50 credit hours to be able to take an online course, but now, there is no credit requirement.
In fact, Dr. Silber says degrees in business or criminal justice can be earned from start to finish online. He says these areas were selected because of their popularity and anticipated interest.
There is already one strictly-online student earning his degree through Culver-Stockton College.
Several graduate degrees are also available online.
Dr. Silber says the next program that could be adapted for fully-online use is sports management.
