'Bounty' to Dock at Ft. Madison

Ft. Madison, IA – The HMS Bounty will make a ten-day stop along Fort Madison's riverfront July 14-27 of next year. The ship is a replica of the famous English vessel from the late 1700s. It was built for the 1962 movie "Mutiny on the Bounty" which starred Marlon Brando. Chamber of Commerce executive director Tracy Vance says the visit will help the region's economy. Ft. Madison is one of the eight stops the ship is scheduled to make as it travels up the Mississippi River next summer.
