He spent the last six years as principal at the high school in Staunton, Illinois.<br /><br />This is the first time he has been the top administrator for an entire district.<br />&nbsp;<br />He has spent a lot of time during his first three weeks on the job learning the names of faculty and staff.<br /><br />Fletcher says it&#39;s important to him not only to get to know them but also to know their expectations for the district. It will soon re-open as home to the Regional Office of Education for Warren, Mercer and Henderson counties.<br /><br />School Board President Lynn Shimun says the contract was signed last week.<br /><br />He says, &ldquo;This is something we&#39;ve been working on for about two years and finally we&#39;ve got it completed. Payroll and bookkeeping and those kinds of things. He said the district will rely on a mix of donations and sales tax revenue to pay for it.<br /><br />Woehlke said the Sports Boosters and FFA Alumni raised about $60,000.
